Home tour : Shilpa Kulkarni's home Part 2

After a visual treat of Shipla Kulkarni's home part 1, let me show you around her bedrooms and her green space. As I was telling you the other day, her home is like a cosy nest where the birds come to retire after a hard day's work. The warmth reflects through all the images. You just cannot miss it!

The master bedroom

The beauty lies in detailing.Every piece just fits in the decor scheme so elegantly. Do you see the curtains below? They are embroidered ones bought from Ikea.

By the bedside...
An assortment of collectibles...
Those wooden combs have been placed so thoughtfully, the radio, books, pothos or for that matter the Kathakali dancer placed together...every item so different from the other, yet when they come together evoke magic.Don't you feel so?

Kids room

The kid's room is always short of space but I loved the way she has done up her son's room creating space for essentials, play and storage

that is an old saree there...

Let us take a peek inside her balcony...casually placed greens in terracotta and ceramics interspersed with decor accessories tells us about her inherent love for earthy elements.

Chitchatting in the greens...
The meditative corner...

Now, we come to an end of this perfect home tour. Someone on facebook commented that it is a very unpretentious home and that's true to the core ! I felt an instant connect and loved every bit of it! What about you?
