If a small balcony or lack of enough space is a hindrance to no-green corner at your home, bother not! because I have an easy DIY for you which will help you hold your planters in style and since it is hanging and takes up only vertical space, you can incorporate it just about anywhere...even in the windows, between the grills yes practically anywhere.
and no the raw materials aern't many...some jute rope, S-hook, ring colour(optional) and that's about it ...
Step 1: Take 4 strings of jute each of about 2 metre lengths. Dip it in a basin of crimson colour for about 15 minutes and let it dry well. Pass it through the ring. Now you have 8 strings of jute. Tie it into a knot.

Step 1: Take 4 strings of jute each of about 2 metre lengths. Dip it in a basin of crimson colour for about 15 minutes and let it dry well. Pass it through the ring. Now you have 8 strings of jute. Tie it into a knot.
Step 2: Separate
the 8 strings into 4 sets, such that we have 2 strings in each set. Leave a gap
of about 15cm after the main knot. Now,
make a knot in each set.
Step 3: Leave a
gap of about 15 cms again. This gap depends on the height of your planter...
Now, pair a string from one set with a string from the other set and tie it
into a knot.
Step 5: Combine all the 8 strings again into a knot. Now you have the base ready for inserting the first pot.
Step 6: Repeat
the above steps to make base for the second tier. Your innovative vertical
plant holder is ready. Hang it in your balcony or in your window sil with the help of an s-hook that
you can easily get from a hardware shop and enjoy the presence of greens in
your home. You can make many such holders and also have the option of making a 2 tier or a 3 tier plant holder.
All these knots may give you feel of a difficult DIY but believe me as you sit down with the ropes and keep following the instruction, it is a super simple project. For increasing the glam quotient, try inserting beads before you make a knot each time!
Do try and let me know how it turned out.
